I have been painting since the early '70s, with education at Miami-Dade Community College, University of Tennessee and several schools in Northern California. My formal art education was interrupted for a number of years, but I stayed on a path of self discovery, learning watercolor and acrylics. Flash forward to the 2000's: I am now a founding member of the Southwest Artisans' Cooperative, located in Bullhead City, Arizona, and have the joy and satisfaction of sharing and working with fellow artists. Computers is also a great joy to me. I am the webmaster for SAC's website: www.southwesthartisansco-op.com. My choices of media are oil, watercolor pencil, and am now finding the fun of mixed media - a course I took last fall at Mohave Community College. And now, our co-op has art classes, too - with courses in mixed media, acrylics, stained glass and wire-wrap jewelry. So my learning continues right here at home!
